Considerations of environmental problems and developing new more environmentally friendly products are an important part of our corporate social responsibility.
Norfolier works together with our customers to develop new packaging products and solutions that minimize the environmental impact of both production and distribution. We consider the entire product life cycle when developing more environmentally friendly products. Working closely with our customers we will develop new products and packaging solutions that consume less raw materials, pollute less, create less waste and promote increased recycling.
Norfolier’s products are all 100% recyclable and we are working actively to develop new products based on recycled plastic (Post Consumer Recycled – PCR).
Norfolier is one of the leading recyclers of plastic waste in the Nordic region. We actively promote and encourage recycling both internally and among our customers and suppliers. Recycled plastic is an important contributor to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Using recycled plastic instead of virgin plastic reduces CO2 emissions by 90% or 4.9 kg/ton.
